The beginning.

My inspiration to design began as a child, spending summers in Grandma Heringer's house - professionally designed and featured in Sunset magazine. But the pièce de résistance of this magical place? The foo dog in the bottom left corner of the photo above. Wait for it....she is one of a pair. I was obsessed with them as a child, I am still obsessed as an adult and, yes, I decorated a whole room around them in my current house. MHPDesign was just beginning!
